"American Mezzo-soprano Eugenie Grunewald is
one of the rare artists who excels not only in
the dramatic roles of Verdi and Wagner, but also in
the Bel Canto repertoire. She is also becoming
known for her dramatic abilities as well as her vocal
artistry. Ms. Grunewald regularly sings leading
roles with such important US companies as the Lyric Opera of Chicago and San
Francisco Opera, and in Europe, in such theaters as Barcelona and Hamburg."
